Following the success of this collection in past seasons, McQueen comes up with a new batch successful three neutral winter colorways: black, white and brown. It features a real nice soft-grained leather for its upper. THE AMQ In Bounds Low collection has been updated but it still takes off from McQueen’s “Street” concept that this style is a part of. Clean, simpleton and even delicate with the choice of muted colors with just a hint of vibrancy makes this collection a must-have.
Another successful collaboration is ensured with the teaming aweigh of Puma with master designer Alexander McQueen. The AMQ Ribcage Sport (photo above) is one Puna and AMQ ’s 13-collection release for its Autumn/Winter collection. The theme of this season’s collection is centered on the sport of boxing, with “Power” as the nike shoes main motivation and reference of the whole collaboration.
McQueen worked around the concept of human anatomy in his design. With the above model dubbed AMQ Ribcage Sport” and the colors identified as dress blues-fennel seed, it features a salmagundi of canvas, leather and plastic in the ribcage. Unique and revolutionary with a 3D sole that changes color when hit by the light, McQueen complete the look with his embossed name on the heel. This model comes in two colorway options. It retails in Puma online store at $350.

Take a look at this recently collaboration between Converse & designer Staple for a very special RED edition of Pigeon Sea Star. This special product was made in support of the Converse 1HUND(RED) Campaign which aims to direct part of the sales to help AIDS victims in Africa. Converse gathered 100 artists and designers all o'er the globe to collaborate on new collections in commemoration of the brand’s 100th air max anniversary this year.scream, that is a long time to be in business. That means, they must be doing something good.
A forum member over at niketalk.yuku.com was “bored” while attending his Digital Graphics class so to keep himself from falling asleep and getting a reprimand, he decided to design his personal colorway for Nike Air Max Lebron VII edition, and added more of foam, too! The result is shown above, neat huh? I thought it’s even better than Lebron 7 edition own blue/black/white colorway, seen here.
As for his Foam versions, the colorways are totally edgy in this pearl/black, blood-red/black, and citrus/black choices.
I have to admit I was feeling a bit nostalgic upon seeing these. Sperry Top Sider was my shoes of choice back when I was still attending university. Nope, you are not getting a time line lest I give away my age. Haha. Seriously though, I am glad to see they have took a hop back up after a long stasis these past couple of years.
